Local fishing information

The Fishing
Anglers staying in the cottages have private and exclusive access to a substantial stretch of the Scarriff River – also known as the Graney River – that is particularly productive in spring when massive shoals of roach and hybrids pack into the this lovely stretch of water. But there are also dozens of accessible lakes offering an opportunity to catch specimen bream, tench, roach, hybrids and some monster pike. You can tackle the massive waters of Derg or choose from a string of free-to-fish loughs such as Lough Graney, O’Grady, Bridget, Kilgorry and Doon Lake, all within a 30 minute drive.
