The house is located in Mountshannon, midway between the popular centres of Whitegate and Scarriff that are so well known outstanding specimen coarse fish, especially bream and pike.
Staying at Sunrise B&B you will experience the peace and tranquillity of the East Clare countryside with panoramic views overlooking Lough Derg and the Arra Mountains. Mountshannon village has received a national tidy town award, and many other numerous awards for its beauty and landscape.

The Fishing
Lough Ree is a brilliant fishery. Here the bream, roach, hybrids, tench and pike, provide terrific sport, though to get the most from this lake it is best to organise a guide or hire a boat locally. Otherwise turn inland, where there are always plenty of room and a great variety of fish from many famous venues such as Lough O’Grady, the renowned Bridget Lough, along with reliable Doon Lake and a dozen more to boot!
