Come Pike Fishing to Ireland

Pike can be found everywhere in Ireland. Quality fish thrive in the numerous waters, such as Lough Corrib in Galway covering 44,000 acres, to small lakes that can be located in every corner of the island.

The Shannon and Erne waterways create a vast web of rivers and lakes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, some of them rarely fished – and all of them guaranteed to hold quality pike. As a matter of interest, the delightful River Suck, which is highly regarded by Irish pike fanatics, produced the Irish pike record of 42lb (19.05kg).

Our pike holiday programme includes a diverse selection of waters to suit everyone. We have “cherry picked” some of the very best accommodations, suggest specialist pike angling guides plus agents who can provide hired boats with engines. You will also discover angling hot-spots on shorelines where you can fish from the bank in comfort and enjoy easy access.

Active Irish Angling have keen angling staff with offices in Ireland and England but can organise pike angling holidays, or elements of the travel and accommodation, from anywhere in Europe. We are also organises of the very popular Lough Ree International Pike Angling Festival on Lough Ree in April.
