Fish Tracker Services
Dave Price says: My quest is to help anglers on holiday in Ireland to enjoy the experience and catch lots of fish. My home is near to Carrick-on-Shannon and I’ve been coarse fishing in Ireland for more than 30 years and living here since 2002. I offer a range of services including simple guided tours of where to fish on a range of lakes, rivers and fishable stretches of the Shannon-Erne Waterway Canal.
You may need an introduction to the area and a quick spin around the waters with my information pack and directions to the most popular fisheries. However, what I enjoy most of all is providing the opportunity to catch plenty of big fish – especially bream and large hybrids – by pre-baiting prepared swims by boat on quiet lakes rarely ever fished.
Interestingly, the majority of my anglers prefer travelling by boat, then fishing from the shoreline of a tranquil lake where they will not be disturbed, often returning to the same spot two or three times.
Choice of angling venues include:
County Leitrim is especially noted for its tench and bream fishing, though you can also expect large roach, rudd, hybrids, perch and specimen pike – the biggest pike last year was 32lb 8oz from the Shannon at Roosky. So let fish tracker do the chasing whilst you do the catching.
Fish Tracker Services – What We Do
Meet & Greet
There is nothing better than arriving in Ireland to be greeted by a fellow sportsman who lives in the area. If you pre-book a date and time or arrival, I will send you as much helpful literature as possible and then meet at an agreed time drive to visit local waters that are performing.
Pre-Baiting and Clearing of Swims
If you have a favourite venue, or wish me to recommend somewhere to fish on the first day or two, I will gladly make the necessary arrangements and groundbait your pegs to provide a head start and an improved chance of catching large fish right away.
By Boat to Quiet Shorelines
Escape to our specially selected peaceful spots on a variety of lakes during your holiday. I have stretches of bank that can take six or more anglers but never mix the parties, so you have your chosen spot all to yourself and can choose to return to the same spot for a number of fishing sessions! Fishing times are your choice and it can be the crack of dawn or following a late breakfast. Return times are also by agreement. I take you to your venue by boat and collect you at an arranged time.
Baits for Fishing
Fishing bait including maggots, casters, worm, frozen fish and groundbait can be ordered prior to your arrival in Ireland and delivered to your accommodation. It is important to book in advance.
