Lough Loung near Glinsk

Lightly fished but alive with skimmer bream, hybrids and roach. However, the more intrepid anglers could find themselves catching large bream and occasional quality tench. The problem is that Loung is under-fished, which means preparing swims over perhaps two days to attract and hold the bream. This same water is also noted for its head of big pike and 20 pounders are often reported. Access is very easy and there are more than 20 angling stands and a walkway. Boats can be launched here and certainly enhance the the possibility of getting that exceptional catch.
