Built in 2009, the angling jetties and boardwalk will last for years and are ideal for tackling this stretch of the River Shannon with whatever method you choose. Local anglers have enjoyed lively sport and brought every style into play while catching bream, quality roach, hybrids and large perch. The river is at least 100 metres wide and depths up to eight metres.

Directions: From Carrick-on-Shannon take the Sligo road across the bridge and turn left at the mini-roundabout towards Elphin. After exactly 9/10s mile turn left on to a small country lane, across the railway line. Follow the lane until the river comes into view.
