Allendale House, Carrigallen, Leitrim

Your hosts Ann and Frank Murray welcome their guests in true Irish fashion with complimentary refreshments on arrivel at Allendale House. Allendale is a bungalow in private grounds close to village center amenities. There are two ensuite and two standard bedrooms with a choice of BB, or evening meal, bed and breakfast at times to suit anglers. Bait, tackle facilities and drying facilities. The nearest pub is a 30 second stroll and there is private access for fishing on Gangin Lake with 14 other waters within three miles.

The Fishing
Town Lake, Gulladoo, Rockfield and Glasshouse
Lower Gulladoo has been particularly good for bream, skimmers and hybrids and on Upper Gulladoo there is a new access road and car park at the water’s edge. Town Lake has also seen something of a revival. There are plenty more good fisheries within striking distance of the village, but those mentioned are prolific waters with a good head of tench, bream, roach, hybrids, pike and perch. Bring a pole, feeder rod and waggler to get the best from what is on offer.
