The Bush Hotel is located at the heart of Carrick-on-Shannon within walking distance of the numerous activities, attractions and entertainment that Carrick has to offer. The Hotel stands on three acres fronting onto to the high street and backing to the town by-pass and the River Shannon with its stunning riverside marinas, walks and parks.

Carrick-on-Shannon is one of Ireland’s finest angling holiday centres with a vast choice of river venues – including the famous “Mudflats” with 40 modern fishing stands and car parking. There are more than 30 lakes within easy reach and they offer great sport with tench, bream, roach, hybrids, pike and perch. Local pike angling guides are available.
The town centre location is superb for after-dinner “entertainment” and you are only a five minute stroll to Tooman Fishing Tackle, a well-stocked shop located on the Main Street. Bait orders placed here can be collected on a daily basis to ensure fresh maggots, casters and worms.
