Lough Derg is the largest lake on the river Shannon and is a natural mixed fishery offering coarse fishing – particularly for specimen size bream, roach and hybrids. It is a renowned pike fishery. There are many islands and sheltered bays that offer interesting and exciting fishing and are ideal for pre-baiting. Our pier has direct access to the lake and with each house is a complimentary 19ft lake boat with engine (petrol extra). Extra boats and engines can be hired for €150 (approx £130) per week. For a change of scene the nearest other lakes are the prolific Lough Graney, Lough O’Grady and Bridget Lake providing good bank access. The Dock – The houses have their own private dock and several boats to hire.
