Lakeview is a three-star self-catering property with two apartments, each with a twin and a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartments are central heated and come fully equipped with bed linen. There is a kitchen/dining room with a fully fitted kitchen including microwave, washer/dryer – in fact everything you would wish for. There is also a bait room, complete with fridge, provided to enable safe storage of equipment and bait. Located in the village of Ballytrain, there is a pub next door and shops nearby. Private car parking. Lakeview is located on the point of a tri-angle with Castleblayney, Shercock and Carrickmacross.

The Fishing
Lough Sillan, Lough Muckno and many Carrickmacross waters
This is a great location for anglers wanting prime fisheries capable of providing quality sport with bream, big roach, hybrids, tench and pike. Lough Sillan certainly has enough roach to satisfy the most demanding anglers, Muckno is well known for its bream, hybrids and roach, while the huge range of lakes around Carrickmacross and Drumconrath are renowned for producing lively sport and specimen fish.
